This woven tape is designed to provide outstanding thermal insulation and protection, making it suitable for use in extreme temperatures ranging from 650°C (glass-fiber reinforced) to 1050°C (Inconel-reinforced). Its flat, woven construction offers excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance, making it ideal for applications requiring movement and adaptability without compromising thermal protection.

Composition and Properties The ceramic fiber tape is made from alumino-silicate ceramic fibers, known for their exceptional heat insulation capabilities. Approximately 20% of the material consists of organic binders, which burn off at lower temperatures without affecting the tape’s insulation properties. The ceramic tape's ability to maintain its thermal stability even in high-temperature environments makes it a superior choice for insulating pipes, cables, and exhaust systems.

On request, the ceramic tape can be impregnated with graphite to further enhance its lubricating properties, ensuring smooth operation in applications that involve moving parts or frequent friction. Additionally, the woven construction ensures the tape remains lightweight, easy to handle, and flexible, making it suitable for wrapping and sealing irregular surfaces.

Thermal and Mechanical Protection Ceramic Fiber Woven Tape provides low thermal conductivity and is resistant to thermal shock, fire, and flame, making it an effective barrier in environments exposed to extreme heat.
